polaroid

I got a new toy this weekend! An old Polaroid!!! Isn’t it so cute! I’ve got some film on the way, and I can’t wait to use it. I’ve even got ideas for incorporating this baby into some of my sessions. We’re so used to the instant gratification of the lcd screen, but how much fun would it be to take home a polaroid pic (or few) from your session!

I’m loving all things vintage these days! I know it may just be a fad, but I can’t help loving it!! I already had this old camera that was my mom’s when she was a newlywed. It’s nothing fancy, but it is special. It’s too bad they don’t make film for it anymore because I love the pictures that she has from it! It’s funny to me that a lot of the editing trends these days are trying to re-produce the look that old film cameras just gave naturally. (not saying I would trade my digital though!)

The best of both worlds is around the corner. They’re re-making the Polaroid! Check it out.

Hey! I think my dad might have an old polaroid camera…lol. It’s crazy the trends that “come back” into fashion. Have fun with your “new” toy! 🙂

  2. yeah, I think lady gaga is the new polaroid spokesperson now. So hopefully it will become more and more popular. I can’t wait to see some of the pics you take with it. How Awesome!!!

  3. It hit me like a hammer that the Polaroid could be called vintage. I remember when my mom won hers from a contest newsletter. 🙂

I am so excited that there will bem ore polaroids! I had heard some time ago (like a couple of years probably) that they were doing away with it. YAY! I LOVE using polaroids, especially for alternative processes. :o)
