Wesley and I love to go to Richmond! We spent part of our honeymoon there, so it’s a very special place for us. There’s lots of little shops and restaurants that we enjoy. Last week we had a little two day get away, and it was so much fun. We didn’t take tons of pictures, but we did capture a few of our favorite things in Richmond (to see more pics, check out last year’s visit). We stayed at the Linden Row Inn, which is a great little hotel. They converted a block of row houses into an inn. There is a sweet little outdoor garden area in the center of the inn. We definitely recommend it.

We always have to visit our favorite coffee shop, Shockoe Espresso & Roastery. It’s in the Shockoe Slip area of downtown, a quaint little area with cobblestone streets, shops, and restaurants. They have great coffee, really cool atmosphere, and our favorite breakfast sandwiches.

Our other favorite part of Richmond is Cary Town. There is a long street full of fun and eclectic shops, with Cary Court in the middle.

It’s cool to see the ‘then’ and ‘now’…

I had my first ever macaroon from a sweet local bakery. It was so good! Though I could live without the chocolate one.

My favorite person
So handsome!

Cary town is filled with character- fun doors, textures, and colors.
